Walker and the team spent years inside high-volume funding shops — watching great operators get handed one-size- fits-all deals that strained cash flow and stunted growth. That wasn't right, and it wasn't sustainable.

So we built something different. A boutique advisory firm that takes the time to understand the deal before structuring it. That works with a smaller number of clients on purpose. And that stays in the relationship after the deal closes, because that's where the next deal lives.

Walker founded Nautix Capital in Charleston, SC after years inside high-volume funding shops watching great operators get handed one-size-fits-all deals that strained cash flow and stunted growth. The pattern was always the same: brokers chasing a commission, lenders buried in volume, business owners left holding terms that worked against them by year two.

He started Nautix to build something different — a boutique advisory firm where the same advisor structures the cap stack from first call through closing, and stays in the relationship long after the wire hits. A firm where the right structure beats the easiest placement, every time.

Today Walker leads every advisory engagement personally — from a multi-unit operator's first $50K working-capital line to a sponsor's $250M+ structured real-estate transaction. His view: the right capital structure changes everything, and the right relationship makes that structure possible.
